Inspired with a passion to pursue a successful career in physical therapy, Brittanie received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science, pre-physical therapy degree at Sonoma State University in 2013. She also went on to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant program in November 2019 with the high honor of Class Valedictorian. Brittanie is constantly motivated to be involved with the positive effects and rewarding benefits of physical therapy and it’s valuable contribution to an individual’s quality of life. In addition, Brittanie is an active member of each of the following American of Physical Therapy Association sections: Research, Sports, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, Neurology, Orthopedics, and Pelvic Health. Brittanie’s favorite part about working in physical therapy is to help provide the tools necessary for each patient to return to doing the activities they love to do; pain free.
Currently, Brittanie is a Physical Therapist Assistant at BioSport Physical Therapy and relates well with their hands-on approach to patient care. She loves advocating for the profession through her involvement within the American Physical Therapy Association. She is passionate about learning and plans to continue her education once she chooses which certification she would like to pursue. Outside of her physical therapy work, Brittanie enjoys spending quality time with her family which includes her husband and 2 year-old daughter. Brittanie also loves to play slow pitch softball with her friends, shopping and working out.
